In the Pokémon universe, many Pokémon emit various vocalizations to convey their feelings to trainers. Pokémon like Pikachu and Genie Turtle sound as if they're constantly repeating their names. Recently, researchers have successfully decoded the meaning behind Pikachu's vocalizations—from Charizard and Rocket Team to greetings and "100,000 Volts"—each syllable carrying a specific meaning.

The international X account "@BatVibes" has compiled 15 distinct vocalizations of Pikachu from the anime, each carrying a specific meaning.
For example:
- Pikapi: Named Xiao Zhi
- Pikachu-Pi: Name: Xiaoxia
- Pika-Chu: His name is Xiaogang
- Pi-Pikachu! Celebrate the victory
- Pika-Pikachu: Self-introduction
- Pika!: Wait a moment
- Pi-kaPika: Goodbye
- Piiika-Chuuuuuu!: 100,000 volts
Among the Pokémon in the series, the Mewtwo is called "PikakaPika," while Genku and other Pokémon are referred to as "PikaPika"; when encountering the Rocket Team, Pikachu addresses them as "PiPi-kachu."

Although these interpretations haven't been officially confirmed by Pokémon Company, "@BatVibes" noted that voice actor Yuuichi Ohani has maintained a remarkably consistent performance across nearly all of his works over the past 25 years, leading to the creation of this comparison chart. The next time you see Pikachu, you might even understand what it's saying!
